Matames Metson at Coagula Curatorial

Matjames Metson is one of the most consistently compelling artists alive. He produces art that is at turns haunting, complex, beautiful and confounding and he does so at a furious pace.

Coagula Curatorial is the logical conclusion of Mat Gleason's efforts to take some of the air out of High Art's tires. Mr. Gleason has been self-publishing a special brand of art criticism (Coagula Art Journal) for two decades now. The gallery offers him a chance to show what he wants, the way he wants.

These two worlds are colliding next month, when on July 28th, Coagula will be showing a huge selection of Matjames Metson's work. This is Mr. Metson's first solo show in Los Angeles, so it's a pretty big deal for Angelenos. REJOICE!

This show has been extended through August 4, 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coagula Gallery is located at:
977 Chung King Road
Los Angeles, CA 90012
